What BUZZCUT collects, why, and what you can do about it.
01What we collect#
- Wallet addresses you sign in with, and signed messages you create.
- The X account you link: permanent user id, username, display name, avatar.
- Public posts that mention campaign tokens, and their public metrics.
- Token balances of participating wallets at the round snapshot block (public chain data).
- Basic request logs (IP address, user agent) for security and rate limiting.
02Why#
To run campaigns: verify that you control the wallet and X account, score posts, compute and pay rewards, prevent abuse, and keep an audit trail of every payout.
03What is public#
Leaderboards show your X handle, avatar, wallet address and earnings for a campaign. Round manifests (wallet, score, amount) and on-chain payouts are public by design and can't be deleted from the blockchain.
04Sharing#
We use a third-party provider to read public X data and blockchain RPC providers to read and send transactions. We don't sell personal data and don't use it for advertising.
05Retention and your choices#
You can leave a campaign at any time; we then stop tracking your posts for it. Records needed to prove past payouts (manifests, audit logs) are kept. Contact the operator to ask for access or deletion of off-chain data.
06Cookies#
We use a first-party session cookie after you sign in and a CSRF protection token. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
BUZZCUT is experimental software. Rewards depend on real, variable creator fees and are never guaranteed. Nothing here is investment advice. Smart contracts are not audited. Social data collection, matching and scoring are operated off-chain by the platform.
